We are looking for a dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive primary school team in Stourbridge. If you are passionate about supporting children's learning and development, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring the needs of all learners are met. Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups of children, both inside and outside the classroom. Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly on a 1:1 basis, ensuring their specific needs are met. Run and support interventions designed to improve literacy, numeracy, or social and emotional skills. Assist with classroom management and ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. Help monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher. Promote positive behaviour, supporting children’s social and emotional development. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. About You: We are looking for a candidate who: Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Has experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Is confident and experienced in providing 1:1 support for children with SEN, as well as running interventions. Is enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about working with young children. Has a good understanding of the curriculum and supporting children with a range of needs. Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff.
