Rota Co-Ordinator (General Surgery & Urology)

This post will be responsible for the day-to-day management of staffing rotas. It will ensure excellent planning, negotiating, and organisation to provide adequate staffing cover, including any staff with external contractual commitments. The role will provide high-quality personal assistance to the management team, including responsible administrative support in their absence, using initiative and working without supervision.
Ensure all information is secure, and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times. Maintain the professional image of the Trust at all times.

Job responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (22.5 hours) Band 4 Rota Co-Ordinator in the General Surgery & Urology Department. You will need excellent planning, negotiating, and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will be part of an established administration team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of staffing rotas for a team of clinicians. We are looking for a friendly, organised person who can demonstrate commitment and excellent communication skills. Applicants need to be flexible to cover our service and will need to work independently and on their own initiative. This is a varied and busy role that is vital to the smooth running of the department.
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours over 3 days
