This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a multi-site hospitality organization in their busy accounts department. This role is based in Surrey at either Esher, Hampton Court, or Farnham, paying £35,000, and offers hybrid working. The ideal candidate will have several years of commercial experience as an Accounts Assistant providing generalist accounts support to a busy SME. This will include but not be limited to:
1. Supporting the Accounts Manager
2. Providing Accounts Payable & Receivable cover when needed
3. Bank Reconciliations
4. Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
5. Posting of monthly journals for Payroll
6. VAT returns
7. Responsible for inter-company transactions and reconciliations
8. Reconciling credit card transactions for all companies
Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working above a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will have a wide scope of responsibility to keep you busy with a variety of weekly and monthly tasks. To be considered for this position, you will ideally be AAT qualified (or currently studying), although qualified by experience will still be considered.
