We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and ambitious Business Development Executive based in Doncaster, DN8. The role will suit someone with entrepreneurial flair and a desire to work their way up to the top through hard work, success, and innovation.
Business Development Executive Benefits:
1. Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum + company bonus scheme
2. Location: Thorne, Doncaster, DN8 - full-time office based

7. Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (all breaks are paid)
Business Development Executive Duties:
1. Managing and growing sales with existing customers / Key accounts.
2. Taking orders by phone/emails - processing Sales Orders and arranging dispatch in coordination with the warehouse team.
3. Raising Replenishment Purchase Orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf.
4. Good knowledge of Sage.
5. Willingness to learn about products & market.
6. Resolve customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, and any urgent and late delivery issues.
7. Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development and other business matters.
8. Prepare & submit sales reports as required by company management.
9. Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programmes.
10. Providing daily reports of field sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors.
11. Demonstrate good sales-management skills to work in a B2B environment.
Business Development Executive Criteria:
1. Must have B2B Product-Sales knowledge and experience in handling/managing key accounts.
2. Own car - business mileage paid but mainly an internal sales role.
3. Full & clean UK driving licence.
4. Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attend sample trials, and see products in function.
5. A confident communicator with a can-do attitude, polite but firm telephone manner, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers.
6. A commercial, common-sense approach.
7. Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy.
8. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
9. Recognise the importance of attention to detail, yet maintain awareness of the bigger picture.
10. Experience in the Packaging Industry is advantageous but not essential.
