York Swimming Academy Ltd. seeks a passionate and ambitious Learn to Swim Manager to join our experienced leadership team. With 1,200 members across five York venues, this is a fantastic opportunity to enhance lesson quality, drive membership growth, and develop a strong teaching team. Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 (plus bonus up to £3000)

Responsible to: Company Directors
Responsible for: Learn to Swim Coordinators, Swim Teachers, Lifeguards
The successful applicant will be expected to:
1. Manage the learn to swim provision;
2. Act as the key point of contact for customers;
3. Line management of teaching and lifeguarding workforce;
4. Drive growth of learn to swim programmes;
5. Improve the quality and standards of teaching across the learn to swim scheme;
Applicants will be an experienced Level 2 Swimming Teacher and have (or be willing to undertake) the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent. With previous experience of coordinating a learn to swim programme, you should be able to prioritise your workload, have excellent communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and be capable of leading and mentoring a diverse workforce across multiple venues and functions.
