Your Team: The Activation Team is a vital part of the News Broadcasting Sales department, responsible for transforming sold Commercial Partnerships into campaigns across our radio, social and digital platforms. Our primary focus is delivering successful campaigns that meet and exceed client expectations. We also collaborate with News UK brands on joint campaigns, working together to create impactful and engaging content. As a Commercial Project Assistant, you’ll report to the Head of Activation and be part of a dynamic team of 10 Project Managers and Assistants. Your Role: With the support of the team, you’ll assist Project Managers in delivering Commercial Partnerships campaigns for a diverse range of clients. This role requires creativity, organisation, and attention to detail to help bring campaigns to life. Day to day you will: Scriptwriting & Proofreading – Assist in scripting and reviewing on-air competition scripts and live reads. Winner Liaison – Communicate with competition winners, ensuring a seamless experience. Content Creation – Build online competition pages, including terms and conditions. Audio Editing – Clip and edit audio for client distribution. Prize Management – Source and send out prizes to winners. Event Support – Assist on-location shoots/activations and outside broadcasts. Campaign Development – Help generate creative campaign ideas for digital, social, and on-air activations. Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with Programming, Creative, and Social teams across all brands. Project Management – Oversee small to medium ad hoc campaigns. Administrative Support – Handle day-to-day administrative tasks. What we’re looking for from you: A proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
