Ankle Research Fellow The Wellington Hospital Contract: 12 months (FTC) Full time: 40 hrs p/w About The Role: This Fellowship aims to develop an individual to become a leader in the field of ankle arthritis surgery, a teacher, and an evidence-based researcher with high and meaningful research outputs. You will work as part of the MSK team, supporting the London Ankle & Arthritis Centre (LAAC) consultants and the clinical team. As a Ankle Research Fellow there will be two fundamental components: Research: The Fellow will coordinate the LAAC outcomes database, research, audit & MDT programme; and support research activity in association with our industry partners. Support clinical activity within the LAAC services at the Wellington Hospital. It is estimated that the split of these activities will approximately 50/50%. This will vary from time to time dependent on activity. What you’ll bring: GMC registration Relevant medical qualifications Competent to perform common foot and ankle procedures Experience in managing patients under consultant supervision An understanding of research principles and methodology Understanding of clinical governance & clinical audit Evidence of publication track record Ability to use reference management software (desirable) Ability to use statistical analysis package (desirable) Computer literate Why HCA UK?
