Our Head office is based in J3 Business Park, Doncaster and provides support to the businesses in the following areas: Finance and Payroll, Human Resources, HSQES, Work Winning, Procurement and Fleet.
Join VolkerRail's Finance and Systems team in Doncaster as a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant, where you'll play a key role in driving both financial operations and systems enhancements.
What You'll Do:
As part of a collaborative team of 7, you will:
Process high volumes of invoices, subcontractor applications, and employee expenses.
Support our systems team on COINS ERP+ enhancement projects (e.g., automating expenses, purchase cards, invoice matching, and OCR).
Act as a bridge between the AP and Systems teams, testing new systems and supporting the rollout of process improvements.
About you
Proven experience handling high transaction volumes in an Accounts Payable role.
Experience with COINS ERP+ or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
Experience in developing and implementing process improvements.
