We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias, who thrives in a hands-on role. If you're experienced with ammonia refrigeration, steam boilers, and automated industrial freezers, and you love solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity you're waiting for.

What You'll Do:
* Ensure all plant machinery and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently, hitting performance targets for productivity, quality, and reliability.
* Use your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, with a focus on ammonia refrigeration plants, steam boilers, and automated systems.
* Work closely with the operations team as a united force, tackling the site's most critical objectives together.
* Drive continuous improvement through initiatives like 5S, root cause analysis, and center-lining machines - your ideas matter here.
* Get involved in exciting projects including equipment installations, PUWER assessments, and critical spares analysis.
* Use the CMMS system to manage maintenance tasks, ensure plant monitoring is thorough, and provide valuable feedback.
What You Bring:
* A recognised Apprenticeship, an NVQ Level 3 in engineering or relevant engineering qualification. Ideally in plant maintenance.
* Hands-on experience in steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, industrial freezers, and automation systems.
* Your fault-finding and problem-solving skills are second to none, and you excel at working independently.
* Good understand of the importance of safety in an industrial environment and can follow risk assessments meticulously.
* Familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel, and CMMS systems - you're comfortable using tech to support your work.
* You're flexible when it comes to shifts and able to step up when cover is needed, whether for projects or holidays.
