Key responsibilities & duties: To raise purchase orders in line with current approval processes To support new supplier on-boarding process, including liaison with external suppliers and internal teams such as H&S and Purchase Ledger To ensure the rigorous management of invoice and payment queries. To efficiently apply for payments according to workload assigned by the Quantity surveyors. Preparation of any other reports relating to applications completed or queried which may be required. To ensure that all applications are submitted to the Client in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with the relevant contract stipulations advised by the Quantity Surveyors. To review and process payment applications from subcontractors timely and accurately, while ensuring best value for Lanes is achieved To identify and manage individual workload. To contribute to the encouragement and development of a culture of contractual awareness. Note: In addition to these functions outlined above, personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the Group/ Company/ Region/ Division Required Skills / Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Confidentiality Organisation Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload Specific contract / department requirements: Required: Numerical Aptitude Desirable (or progression possibilities): Full UK Driver’s Licence What skills are we looking for?
