Role description
This position has responsibility for both marketing capability building and strategic planning, to support company’s strategy development and execution.
Typical Accountabilities
- Business Insight Excellence Partner
1. Generate business insights on a regular and ad-hoc basis to help identify opportunities/risks
2. Customize dashboards and reports to equip the commercial teams with knowledge that will enable better and faster business decision making
3. Collaborate with commercial teams in building business cases with required analysis/calculations
4. Lead and coordinate data/information acquisitions to enhance business/market intelligence
5. Participate and contribute towards strategy development in the business planning processes
6. Monitor the research and analysis of the Company’s moderately complex markets, competition and product mix.
7. Manage research studies and make presentations on current, new market areas and future market conditions.
8. Work on issues where analysis of situation and or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
9. Compile and analyze moderately complex statistical data on past sales and trends to forecast future trends.
10. Direct or conduct the modeling and analysis used to determine the return on various marketing initiatives.
11. Deliver advanced analytical support to middle and upper management, either through subordinate analysts or individual efforts.
12. Interact successfully with internal brand teams consisting of members of senior management by providing timely and accurate data and analysis.
13. Serve as a member of a product life cycle team, participating in the development of Market Research’s strategy for a brand promotional plan.
14. Manage primary and secondary market research agencies.
15. Proactively focus on improvements to the current Market Research processes and work closely with management to develop more effective presentations, informational packets and research findings.
- Business Planning Coordinator
1. Participate and contribute towards strategy development in the business planning processes, such as BSP (Brand Strategic Planning) or BEP (Brand Execution Planning)
2. Actively participate and update corporate (scorecard) and brand KPI, forecasting assumption & rationale validation
3. Coordinate with cross functional teams and regional level to set review schedules as well as pre/post communication
- Marketing Excellence Champion
1. Have responsibility for embedding and consistently updating AstraZeneca Marketing framework as well as marketing training program (Degreed) and MSP (Marketing Success Profile)
2. Coordinate with marketing and drive to develop relevant marketing capability program, based upon the result of capability assessment and marketers’ needs
3. Closely coordinate with Asia Area or Global Marketing & Digital excellence team to adopt global framework or programs to local level
Skills

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelors degree and above
2. Language: Korean, Good command of English
Work Experience:
1. +10 years experiences in pharmaceutical company marketing, strategic planning, business analytics, or strategic consulting, market research firm related with healthcare industry
Competencies:
1. Overall pharma business understanding from manufacturing to sales and marketing
2. Strong analytics capability / business acumen with ability to understand and interpret information from multiple sources.
3. Good presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts or plans in a simple concise manner.
4. Ability to perform market assessments (using multiple quantitative and qualitative sources) to translate data into actionable recommendations.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of secondary data sources (IQIVA, HIRA, UBIST, etc.)
6. Strong networking through industry
