Cranleigh STEM is working with a business in the scientific and analytical sector in their search for a Project Delivery Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position based at a laboratory in Bedford. As a key member of the Management team, the Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing all contract work to ensure it meets project specifications and for managing the overall customer experience. Each project framework is tailored to client needs, and the role involves managing sampling and logistics schedules, overseeing work-in-progress, handling subcontractor relationships, ensuring timely report delivery, and hosting regular client meetings. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of projects, including the creation and management of timelines, budgets, KPIs, and project documentation. Actively oversee the Customer Experience (CX), ensuring consistent and integrated service delivery. Lead and represent the business in client meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Provide timely reports and updates to clients, addressing queries promptly. Maintain effective change control processes. Track actions and ensure they are completed on schedule. Coordinate with various Laboratory Teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly. Maintain accurate and timely project reporting. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Requirements: Extensive experience in project management within a laboratory or science-related environment, with a proven track record of project delivery and client management. Experience leading technical teams in a fast-paced setting. Ability to make informed decisions based on available data. Skilled in managing large datasets using Excel and other database formats. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a laboratory setting and familiarity with LIMS software would be an advantage.
