As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering UK corporate tax support and advice to clients, ensuring client relationship managers are well informed and receive regular updates on project progress, along with identifying and escalating any issues as necessary.
What does this role involve?
As part of the management team, you will lead your service line in accordance with our culture and values, supporting directors to achieve targets, while supporting your teams in the delivery of their work, and ensuring operational objectives are met.
This role includes ad hoc projects for Research and Development tax credits, capital allowances, share schemes, due diligence and corporate restructuring. You will write technical reports of findings and review those prepared by other team members, providing timely feedback on their work.
You will be responsible for the overall quality of individual client assignments and the production of a complete product whilst ensuring invoices are raised in a timely manner.

Team management
As part of the management team, you will oversee and develop team members by setting objectives and conducting performance reviews.
You will interact with clients on a daily basis at several levels, to identify the more complex problems faced and provide solutions, acting as the primary contact for clients and have responsibility for client relationship management.
You will also ensure that everyone in your team is equipped with the skills they need to deliver the best possible client experience, coupled with clear career opportunities and a supportive work environment in which talents can flourish.
Teamwork
You will work effectively in collaboration with other team members to scope out client requirements and ensure that assignments are carried out efficiently within specified budget(s).
You will work with other directors and managers of the team for individual client assignments, ensuring that they are well informed and receive regular updates on progress, along with identifying and escalating any issues as necessary.
You will conduct performance reviews and set clear objectives, maintaining fairness, equality, diversity and inclusivity.
Skills and experience
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
* You will be ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ATT qualified with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
* Experience in capital gains, allowances, income tax, tax advisory, corporate tax, international tax, budget management, certified public accounting and incorporation work.
* Interpersonal and people management skills.
* Organised with good time and budget management.
* Ability to prioritise own workload.
* Self-motivated for technical knowledge and personal development.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
