Job Description
We have an exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team at Holmfirth Taproom, based in
Holmfirth. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the venue. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safety of our team and guests, leading and managing a highly engaged venue and taproom team, delivering best-in-class hospitality experiences, and building brand adoration through beer education and passion. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for achieving business objectives and financial targets. In the absence of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will act on their behalf for all business-related matters
You will be responsible for:
As a Leader at In Good Company Brewery
* Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture with the team,
ensuring compliance with safety regulations
* Actively lead the people processes (Achievement Planning, 1:1s etc.)
with your team and ensure 100% completion within agreed timeframes
* Contribute to and deliver on business and team engagement initiatives
* Support the development of team through targeted capability
opportunities and regular coaching and feedback

available in the best possible condition

all team members on shift are presentable within appropriate standards

are completed effectively and in full

Knowledge:
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Reading financial statements / results and reporting on it

* Liquor licensing qualifications, first aid and fire warden trained
* Roster writing, Stock taking, cash and stock security
* Familiarity with Kitchen operations
and structure, Food safety
* Food and Beverage service procedures
in a range of environments
* Beer production process
Experience:
* Hospitality management of at least 2 years at a similar level
* Managing teams of people
* Recruitment and training of people
* Safety management support and plans writing
* Delivering training for team members
Additional information:
* Salary depending on experience. Up to £28,000.00 per annum.
* Working pattern: 5 out of 7 days, 40 hours per week.
