As the Financial Accountant, you will take full ownership of the financial control environment and identify areas for improvement. You will also manage and mentor two junior team members. Key responsibilities include: Preparing weekly and periodic management reports for senior leadership, including board-level stakeholders. Providing analysis of management accounts and offering recommendations for financial forecasts. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of all financial transactions. Ensuring management reports evolve to meet the needs of senior leaders. Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise improvement initiatives. Assisting with commentary for weekly and periodic reports. Overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting the year-end audit by addressing queries and providing necessary documentation. Ideal candidate: ACA qualified from a large practice Experience mentoring junior staff. A desire to continuously improve and streamline processes Strong interpersonal skills to fit within a friendly and approachable culture.
