Inventory Clerk – Sheffield – GB14423
YOUR ROLE
The main role is to ensure that all damaged, out of date, non-compliant, and obsolete stock items are removed from systems in a timely and compliant manner at the request of our customers and to help maintain stock accuracy through standardization of processes and monitoring the receipt and picking accuracy of warehouse operatives – with an aim to optimize the warehouse operation as a whole.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To act as a Ciel Super User to support the operation.
2. Support customers’ annual stock counts.
3. Ensure that controlled drugs are counted monthly as per customer requirements.
4. Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements – minimizing errors, and resolving such errors in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Assist in inventory accuracy by investigating goods receipt issues internally and externally with customers.
6. Responsible for ensuring inventory is managed in line with corporate control and quality policies, including all customer returns.
7. Compliance responsibility to ensure that redundant stock is processed in line with customer and GDP requirements.
8. Support audit activities and facilitate exchange of information relating to the control of inventory.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
1. Educated to GCSE, A-C level including Maths and English.
2. Previous experience of using an Electronic Stock Management System.
3. Good inter-personal and communication skills.
4. Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
5. Flexible and able to work accurately under pressure in a very busy environment.
6. Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance requirements.
7. Ability to negotiate and influence others.
8. Excellent attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
