This is a newly created and pivotal role for a driven Data Analytics Manager to join a dynamic and growing healthcare organisation. They have had Private Equity investment and are now looking to bolster their data capability as a key value creation strategy. Reporting to the Head of IT & Operations, you will be instrumental in building and leading the internal data analytics capability, shaping the data strategy and working closely with the C-Suite, including the CFO and Commercial Director. This will be focused around driving data-informed decisions across the entire business. In the short term, you will optimise the reporting suite, manage the data analysts, and drive tangible impact. In the long run, you will also have the chance to grow the analytics team further.
Role:
* Lead the development and implementation of robust SQL-based data models and Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights across the business.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the C-Suite, to understand their data requirements and deliver high-level data trends and analysis.
* Mentor and manage the existing junior data analysts, fostering their growth and ensuring the delivery of impactful analytics.
* Drive the completion of the business-wide BI automation project, understanding the commercial impact and ensuring decisions are data-led.
* Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data for commercial advantage and provide recommendations to progress the business.
Requirements:
* Extensive track record in a data analytics role with proven experience in leading or mentoring data analysts, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
* Exceptional technical ability, having worked with disparate data, building SQL-based data models and developing insightful Power BI dashboards is a must-have.
* Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting data insights to senior leadership.
* A proactive and commercially-minded approach, with the ability to not just build reports but also analyse the data and provide business recommendations.
