What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level HLTA to support students in our achievement centre, someone who is passionate and has a track record of engaging students.
This post would suit an existing HLTA or a teacher of any subject to work more with smaller groups of vulnerable students teaching all aspects of the curriculum. The role will allow you to make a huge difference to the lives of our most vulnerable students and be a part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a willingness to ‘think outside the box', working dynamically, creatively, and collaboratively with colleagues. We are looking for someone who can motivate our wonderful students to have confidence and make progress in their studies.
As part of the role, you will be required to assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties.
Full training will be provided.
Where the response to an advertisement has been exceptional, occasionally shortlisting and interviews may be arranged at short notice. Candidates are therefore encouraged to submit their application forms as soon as possible.
Ralph Allen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children: the successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
