This company is a market-leading manufacturer of branded products/solutions to the commercial and domestic building sectors. The business, which is well-invested and highly ambitious, has realised rapid growth in the recent past both organically and through strategic acquisitions. The company is now seeking a Sales Director to support the ongoing delivery of exciting plans.
The appointed candidate will shape and implement the commercial strategy for the Domestic Products Division, working with other members of the leadership team to drive profitable sales growth. Leading a UK&I sales team, the emphasis of the role is on further strengthening relationships with key channel partners (merchants and distributors) whilst capitalsing on wide-ranging specification opportunities in growth parts of the market.
Ideal andidates will be experienced sales leaders with a successful track record gained delivering profitable growth, preferably with a manufacturing business supplying building products (or related) via multi-channels including specification, merchants and distributors. Candidates must possess a strong leadership profile with the ability to develop a high-performing sales teams by coaching, guiding and supporting others. The ability to build good customer relationships and to influence a wide range of stakeholders is also essential.
