The Role:
Join our friendly team as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Hampshire Equipment Services (HES), where we support people across Hampshire who need additional care.
As an integral part of our small supportive team, you’ll carry out vital administrative tasks and customer interactions, ensuring the smooth running of our service. Your work will be confidential, demanding, and at times emotionally challenging, but always rewarding, which will suit your sensitive and flexible approach. You’ll be part of a service who are committed to promoting people’s independence and enhancing their quality of life, supporting them to remain living in their own homes, reducing, avoiding, or delaying the need for ongoing care.
What you’ll do:
* Be the Friendly Face: Manage reception, handle calls, monitor and respond to emails, acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and staff.
* Foster Connections: Build and nurture positive working relationships within our team and with our service users.
* Solve Problems: Address and resolve high volume queries, ensuring customer satisfaction by escalating complex issues when necessary.
* Ensure Accuracy: Perform data checking and monitoring tasks, including working with spreadsheets to keep everything running smoothly.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous administrative experience or equivalent.
* Good IT skills with MO365 experience (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions. You’ll treat all service users with dignity and respect and have a strong focus on customer service.

Working Patterns
The working hours for this position follow a current pattern of Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm.
