Drive sales within existing business activities at Café Artysans, including outside catering and events, to achieve profitability targets and ensure high standard service or product delivery.
Maintain and develop customer relationships, identify service development and new market opportunities, and engage with the Highland business community and non-business clients to drive sales.
Oversee profit and loss account of Calman Enterprise activity, deliver and monitor sales forecasts, and undertake options appraisals on new trading markets.
Issue proposals and quotations, bid for tendered contracts, and manage and record sales enquiries to provide proposals aligned to client requirements.
Create operational opportunities for young people to progress within the organisation and diversity skillsets through new business opportunities.
Attend relevant workshops and events to promote the work of the organisation and the Enterprise services on offer.
Report on activity, performance, proposals, and feedback to the Chief Executive and provide routine activity updates to the Calman Enterprise board.
Collaborate with colleagues over promotional and marketing activity and identify opportunities for cost-effective marketing strategies.
Routinely review the Enterprise service offer and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ongoing increased profitability.
Requirements
• Good standard of formal education
• Evidence of commitment to continuous professional training and development
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Terms:
Initial one-year contract, with aspiration to extend and expand the role, subject to performance.
Salary £37,500 plus performance-related bonus (at discretion of Calman Trust)
