An opportunity to be a Senior Accounts Assistant for an accountancy firm based in Solihull. They are looking for a motivated accounts assistant, familiar with practice processes and solid understanding of bookkeeping duties. Role Responsibilities:
* Support the finance team in preparing financial reports
* Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries
* Assist in processing invoices and expense reports
* Assistance in preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for companies, sole traders & partnerships
* Personal and corporate tax return preparation & completion
* Client bookkeeping and management accounts for a variety of businesses, using mainly Sage 50, Xero & QuickBooks
* VAT return preparation & transmission
* Prompt clients contact and liaison providing a top-class service, going the extra mile
Location / Office / Culture
The role is office based in Solihull. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 30.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* AAT/CIMA are preferred
* Solid understanding of Double-entry and Journals
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance assistant role
* Excellent communication and organisational skills – be able to manage your own
workload
* Confident with Sage, Xero, ...
