My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join near Grangemouth. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime
* Planning and organising production schedules
* Distribute manpower effectively
* Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend
* Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them
* Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls
* Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI's
* Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
* Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business
Experience required:
* 5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role
* Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods
* Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better
* Excellent project management skills
* The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams
* Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety
* Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program
