What you will be Responsible for:
As a Trainee Process Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of Wastewater Treatment Works and associated sewage pumping stations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating sites in line with environmental permits to protect environment, general maintenance of equipment and site, taking effluent samples to monitor and improve biological performance.
Take responsibility for identifying and where applicable undertaking reactive work as required.
Identifying potential pollution risks from our assets, taking measures to prevent pollution and escalating when required.
Looking at ways we can continuously improve.
As part of your trainee programme you will work alongside the current operational team to gain experience and knowledge of the site and attend multiple training course to become a competent operator.
About You:
We are looking for someone who’s enthusiastic about putting out customers first every day and a team player, willing to take part in all necessary training requirements required for the role.
A driving licence is required for this role. If you don’t have one currently, we ask that you are working towards this.

Training: Will be provided on the job.
Length of Apprenticeship: 18 months.
Salary: All of our apprenticeship and trainee programmes will start on £23,142.00.
