To carry out regular grounds and gardens maintenance tasks (e.g. grass cutting, brush cutting, lawn edging, watering, hedge cutting, litter picking.
To carry out regular maintenance of planted areas (e.g. pruning of small tress, plants and shrubs, dead heading, digging, hoeing, cultivating, fertilising, watering, taking and tying.
To assist with hard and soft landscaping projects (e.g. Road repairs, fencing, external furniture and structures installation).
To undertake cleaning and basic maintenance of garden equipment and machinery.
To check equipment and machinery and carry out pre-start checks reporting any concerns to the Team Leader.
To carry out gritting of paths and entrances.
To ensure that the gardening team’s maintenance, storage and accommodation areas are clean and free of hazards.
To assist with seasonal works in line with PPM (e.g. scarifying, spiking, rolling and reseeding of turf areas).
To assist other departments with extraneous tasks and other reasonable duties as directed.
Full driving Licence is required.
