Job Function:
To continue the development of our plant and construction division, by growing sales, increasing the customer base, developing marketing plans, managing inventory, developing and deploying a growth strategy.
Essential Duties:
* Create and maintain relationships with plant and construction (P&C) machinery users.
* Develop a department vision, strategy and marketing campaigns to build this area of the business and achieve annual sales targets
* Arrange demonstrations with customers and the demonstration team
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimum levels of stock
* Maintain an awareness of the value of new and used equipment including competitors’
* Use CRM to log all enquiries, opportunities and contacts
* Assist with open days and regional shows
Skills and Experience:
* A self-motivated and passionate individual that loves selling but also developing and growing departments and implementing strategies.
* Willing to be flexible with hours to maintain our level of service in busy times
* Regional knowledge of P&C machinery users
* P&C machinery industry experience
* Experienced sales professional
* Computer literacy including MS office and CRM
* A valid driving licence and experience of towing a trailer
