We are looking for a Social Media and Content Writing specialist with at least 2 years' marketing experience, to join a friendly and dynamic team for contracted maternity cover.
About the Company:
It's an exciting time to join the Marketing Team at Crane Garden Buildings. They're bolstering their marketing effort across all channels, including website, organic and paid social media. They're a small team with big ambitions, so it's important for the newest member of the team to be equally passionate about brand perception, products, and channels, with skillsets to match.
The successful candidate will be joining the marketing team at a pivotal time, with many new challenges and opportunities to showcase an inspiring writing style and demonstrate creative flair to help deliver the overall marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities of the Content & Social Media Executive:
1. Generate content and copy to advertise the brand, ensuring it is relevant, accurate, and gives a clear customer message.
2. Develop and deliver an SEO approach, with external agency support, driving and constantly updating marketing content plans.
3. Write a wide variety of website copy, utilizing product and brand knowledge, ranging from blog and news articles to more product-specific content and landing pages.
4. Use customer persona data to target different customer types, depending on the platform it is being designed for.
5. Work with the Performance Marketer to create and run successful paid social campaigns, and monitor the performance of the website, social media, and SEO collectively.
6. Accountable for organic social media postings and platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and TikTok.
7. Help create content for print materials, including brochures, flyers, and signage.
Required Skills & Experience for the Content & Social Media role:
1. Minimum 2 years' experience working within a marketing team.
2. B2C experience, ideally in the luxury sector.
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Creative eye and strong attention to detail.
5. SEO and commercial content writing, proofreading & editing.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush).
7. Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
8. GCSE English & Maths at grade 5 or above.
9. Marketing qualification level 3 or above (preferred but not essential).
