We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience and the desire to grow and learn within a fast-paced global firm. You must have a passion for cybersecurity trends and a vision for progression. You should demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills, the ability to wear multiple hats, work well under pressure, and possess compassion for people, along with face-to-face interpersonal skills.
As a security awareness analyst, you will play a crucial role within the information security team and take ownership of the cybersecurity strategy. You will have solid experience in developing audience-dependent training programs to implement security awareness initiatives tailored to different departments within the organization, ensuring employees become more cyber aware and work to change their behavior in a way that fits them. Customer-facing and presentation experience would be advantageous.
Duties / Experience will include:
1. Conducting Simulations: Run phishing simulations and other exercises to test and improve employees' ability to recognize and respond to security threats.
2. Raising Awareness: Organize campaigns and events to promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices amongst employees.
3. Assessing Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of the security awareness programs and make necessary adjustments to improve them, demonstrate new strategies, and monitor training success.
4. Collaborating with teams: Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals to ensure that the training programs align with the organization’s overall security policies and goals.
5. Drive Culture: Set and maintain goals to foster a security-conscious culture within the organization, helping to prevent security breaches and protect sensitive information.
6. Stakeholder communication skills: Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders who control the budget, HR, learning & development teams, the marketing department to roll out internal communications, and IT and security who hold the efficacy data you need to make go-forward decisions.
