An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us with working within our dynamic and friendly Supported Living Service located in Portsmouth.
Outreach Support Worker (Part-time) minimum of 16 hours per week
Flexible shifts over a 24/7 week, 365 days a year (Incl. weekend, bank holidays and sleep in shifts on a rota basis)
Salary – £22,425 per annum equal to £11.50 per hour (FTE)

As an Outreach Support Worker, you’ll be engaging directly with those we support, inspiring fun and creativity whilst encouraging independence and allowing individuals to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Within this role, you will be providing morning and evening support to individuals, encouraging their independence by helping them complete day-to-day tasks such as cooking, personal care, light housework, and life management.
The Role:
* Supporting individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing, and independence
* Assisting individuals with their personal, social, and healthcare needs whilst maintaining accurate records
* Supporting individuals to attend university and complete education.
* Assisting individuals in completing day-to-day household tasks including cleaning, food shopping
* Building positive working relationships with family members, carers and other professionals
* Supporting in organising recreational and social activities giving assistance where necessary in the organisation of transport.
What are we looking for?
* An enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about pushing for change to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity within today’s society
* A fun positive individual, who loves to engage in the interests of the people we support
* To be able to adapt communication skills and is happy to give their ideas on daily activities and planning
* Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable, with a willing to work towards after the completion of probation
* A full manual UK licence is required for this role
