Key Responsibilities: Produce and modify tapered insulation layout drawings based on architects' drawings, customer sketches, or surveyor site dimensions. Perform thermal calculations for flat board and tapered insulation from provided information. Create itemised schedules of components for estimating and production use. Prepare drawings with delivery schedules and marked delivery areas. Communicate effectively with customers, architects, contractors, and the general public to discuss project requirements and provide guidance on relevant standards. Skills and Experience: Educated to HNC, HND, or Degree level in a relevant construction or manufacturing discipline, or possess equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 2 years experience as a CAD Technician in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar. Experience with Drawing Express is desirable. Familiarity with U-value software like JPA or BuildDesk is advantageous. Experience with estimating tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce or Efficy is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
