This role forms part of the Delivery capability within our Technology team, working closely with our digital product teams and 3rd party suppliers as part of our Digital Factory, essentially being the interface between business and technology.
This role reports into the Head of Product Delivery.
Job Purpose
Drive operational excellence by embedding Agile principles and optimizing ways of working across product teams.
Enable high-performing teams by mentoring and coaching in Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning teams to deliver value.
Promote collaboration and innovation by refining workflows, streamlining governance, and aligning stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Produce management information based on agreed metrics to help identify risks, opportunities, and suggested changes in process.
Job Accountabilities
1. Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and improve product team performance.
2. Coach, mentor, and collaborate with teams and cross-functional groups to enhance Agile adoption and deliver high-performing results.
3. Drive a culture of continuous improvement through Agile coaching, helping teams adopt and refine practices.
4. Assist teams in selecting and adapting Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale) based on team dynamics and organizational needs.
5. Establish and promote best practices for Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement, focusing on accountability and goal achievement.
6. Act as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead for product teams when required, stepping in to facilitate Agile delivery, resolve roadblocks, and maintain team alignment.
7. Support teams in defining acceptance criteria, Definition of Done (DoD), Definition of Ready (DoR), and refining stories for effective planning.
8. Help teams articulate the "why" behind Agile to enable deeper understanding and buy-in.
9. Organize and facilitate Scrum of Scrums to coordinate inter-team dependencies, resolve roadblocks, and ensure effective communication.
10. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify potential risks, encouraging proactive risk management and resolution.
11. Analyse workflows to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and delivery speed.
12. Ensure use of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) aligns with organizational standards and best practices.
13. Manage vendor relationships, including vendor assessment, SOWs and PO management, and governance practices, ensuring alignment with team objectives.
14. Support organizational change management and the scaling of Agile practices across teams.
15. Facilitate team onboarding processes and provide training on Agile tools and practices.
16. Support engineering teams by improving productivity metrics, measuring Agile maturity, and driving actionable insights.
17. Stay current with the latest Agile trends and integrate best practices into coaching and operational strategies.
Key Skills
1. Minimum 5 years of experience, with demonstrable experience as an Agile Delivery Lead working with multiple teams simultaneously.
2. Proven track record of successfully implementing Agile practices and driving organizational transformation.
3. Demonstrated experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, guiding teams through Agile processes, and delivering results.
4. Experience working with global, cross-functional Agile teams in large-scale organizations.
5. Strong experience in organizational change management and scaling Agile practices.
6. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering practices.
7. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum@Scale.
8. Strong facilitation skills, including content development and delivery.
9. Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across all levels of the organization.
10. Ability to tailor coaching methods to team dynamics and organizational needs.
11. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying effective solutions.
12. Effective influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
13. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
14. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities shift rapidly.
15. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with three in-office days per week.
