VP, Human Resources - Performance Effectiveness and Learning & Development

Our newly created VP, Leadership Development & Performance Maximization role is part of the IRIS Human Resources Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for leading the Learning and Development (L&D) function, the HR Merger & Acquisition team, and our Organisational Performance strategy. Learning And Development
The VP of Organisational Performance will be responsible for heading up the Learning and Development (L&D) function, and will:
1. Ensure the L&D team has a clear and results-driven strategy that is aligned to corporate OKRs, and deliver consistently and excellently against it.
2. Be responsible for reviewing, structuring, and supporting the career paths of Directors, Seniors Directors, and VPs, designing and implementing a repeatable process with appropriate and clear guidelines surrounding promotion.
3. Review and support the Executive team’s development – identifying individual needs on a yearly basis so that they can be at their best to drive IRIS’ success.
4. Support Executive team facilitation – understanding executive team dynamics and actioning plans to ensure the Exco team works well together and has honest, transparent, and effective relationships.
5. Evolve and optimize the leadership and management development offering at IRIS to support productivity, employee experience, and organizational success.
Acquisitions
IRIS is a highly acquisitive company, growing at scale; therefore, the VP of Organisational Performance will:
1. Ensure that playbooks for HR acquisition due diligence are optimized and followed carefully and consistently for each acquisition.
2. Ensure playbooks for HR acquisition integration are optimized and followed for each acquisition to ensure speed to EV through retention and engagement of key resources.
3. Ensure Peakon is embedded and proactively used for each acquisition and that scores and metrics are maximized, so that all employees are happy and productive.
4. Ultimately, ensure all new acquisitions achieve and exceed their investment thesis working with the VP of M&A Integration and the VP of Corporate Development.
Organisational Effectiveness
We place high priority on ensuring all employees at IRIS drive our missions, vision, values, and goal attainment. The VP of Organisational Performance will:
1. Ensure IRIS has a clear, embedded process for defining, executing, and reporting back on achievement vs OKRs.
2. Work with DH to embed the utilization of Reclaro, our third-party strategic planning software.
3. Review productivity of each department and make recommendations based on data, e.g., software development.
4. Oversee the introduction of new productivity measures in Software Engineering to drive and maximize success factors.
5. Review the Long-Term Plans (LTPs) and ensure that the correct positions globally, including ExCo and leadership, are in the correct geographies.
6. Plan and execute changes as required.
7. Ensure any location strategies, for the purpose of efficiencies and effectiveness, are planned and executed.
8. Take a proactive role in suggesting global TOM changes.
Global HR Oversight (TBC)
Create and implement Global HR Policies and Practices to drive compliance and increase employee experience. Build and lead an inspiring and high-performing Global HR Operations function.
