Leprino is seeking to appoint a Shift Supervisor/Team Leader at our Magheralin site reporting to the Production Manager. You should be confident in handling issues head-on, dealing with them as a team and where appropriate escalating to the relevant Manager. Provide a first point of contact for other functions across our Magheralin site outside of normal office hours and having the confidence to escalate when issues arise. Communicate regularly with the departmental manager on all current and potential future issues. By coaching and motivating, the Team Leader will enable his/her team to achieve agreed performance standards in safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental. Work closely with his/her peer group to deliver the overall aims and objectives of the business. Allocate work, manage staffing levels and ensure attendance, grievance and disciplinary matters are dealt with in accordance with companys policies and procedures. Ensure that all team training needs are identified, monitored and reviewed and development plans are put in place. Ensure timely and accurate records are maintained of all production adjustments, and that all operational checks are carried out and documented Monitor all process controls on a continuous basis and ensure your team members carry out the necessary adjustments to maintain production within specification and minimise waste. Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times The successful candidate will have: 1 - 3 years recent and relevant experience within a Production or Manufacturing in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Evidence of having monitored KPIs and introduced initiatives to ensure consistent achievement of production targets. GCSE pass level in Maths & English. Competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience in using standardised work instructions Knowledge of how safe working practices are applied and how a safe place of work (SPOW) can be enhanced through operator inclusivity. Carry out Risk Assessments and hazard elimination Experience of working within a manufacturing environment where multiple workstations interact together to deliver an efficiently manufactured product Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Strong leadership and people management skills Create and contribute to a high performance culture within the team and strive for excellence Champion continuous improvement Ability to utilise resources effectively Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to prioritise effectively Self-motivated Evidence of a Go and See approach to managing the team/process.
