The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with SEN students, providing crucial support both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include assisting with learning activities, implementing individual education plans (IEPs), and creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support SEN students in their learning and development.
* Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN students.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the needs of SEN students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
* Passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to support students' emotional and educational needs.
* Experience in a similar role or working with SEN students is advantageous.
* Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
