Job Purpose - Bardon Based - Fixed Term Contract 4 - 6 months
Assist the Payroll Manager in processing the Payments to NRS employees of the monthly payroll.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Resource Link NGA Payroll system
2. Set up new starters calculate holiday entitlement
3. Issue welcome emails to new starters (confirming employee number, pro rata holidays, auto enrolment info etc)
4. Process Leavers, calculate annual leave, highlight any deductions/ payments
5. Process Changes to post and salaries
6. Manage overtime submissions
7. Upload temporary pay elements such as overtime & expenses
8. Input all absence (including RIDDOR)
9. Manage the self-service system- un suspend self-service users to allow them to view online payslips, book holidays and password resets
10. Print P45's and Payslips documents to leavers process in the current month
11. Set up email addresses
12. Upload new contract information for TUPE employees
13. Responsibilities for ensuring work patterns are correct and liaise with Service managers to ensure that work patterns are up to date & create new ones if required
14. Upload starters, leaver, change and all other information to Doc Store
15. Complete pension leaver forms
16. Liaise with Northgate via the extranet to resolve any system issues
17. Work closely with the HR department to resolve Payroll, post, employee queries
18. Work closely with the Recruitment team to ensure all new posts are created in time for the new starter to be set up on to the payroll
19. Support employees with their payroll, self-service queries etc
20. Manage the joint Payroll inbox
21. Run & issue report to all service centres (multisite)
22. Provide user guides to employees ensuring these user guides are always up to date
23. Support the Payroll Manager with Pension Administration
24. Continuous improvement & development of our working practices
25. Personalise and update the self-service home page
26. Scan & save any information processed in the pay cycle
27. Ensure the cost codes are allocated to the correct posts
28. Support the Managers with any system queries
29. Upload the P6 & student loan files issued from HMRC
30. Support with any Private & Confidential queries
