Cleaner/Labourer required to work with the Belfast City Council based in Donegall Square. Working a two week rota, the position will offer full-time hours every week. Week one will be Monday through Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am until 1pm, and week two will be Monday through Thursday from 10.30am to 6.30pm and Friday 10am until 5.30pm. Initially the position will be for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on job performance. The hourly rate is £13.05. The successful candidate will be required to complete general cleaning duties in various areas such as City Hall, Cecil Ward Building and other Belfast City Council properties. The duties will include but are not limited to transporting, erecting and dismantling furniture, assisting with liaising with event organisers to ensure that the layout is adhering to health and safety regulations, replenishing toilets, collecting and disposing of confidential waste and recyclables and assisting handyperson with certain tasks as required.
