I am looking for a Trades Supervisor to join a Housing Association in Hertfordshire. The Trades Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day to day repairs and voids, ensuring that they are carried out to a high standard. This role benefits from a company Van.
Trades Supervisor duties:
Overseeing day to day repairs and voids, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
Included in an out of hours rota as supervisor contact a minimum of once every 8 week
What is required for the role:
To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject.
Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
