Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: 1. Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 2. Develop individualised learning plans to address students' specific needs. 3. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles. 4. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting strategies as necessary. 5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students. 6. Maintain accurate records of student performance and achievements. Required Qualifications: - A relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with students with SEN - Knowledge of SEN support strategies Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher, particularly with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student needs - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs - Experience working in a similar role in an educational setting Working Conditions: - Part-time hours, flexible schedule - Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting - Potential for remote or online tutoring - Collaborative work with other educational professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
