Whatyou’ll be doing:
* Performand supervise high level calibration / repair of electrical test,measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) including resourcemanagement and calibration workloadsignoff
Write, review, and approvecalibration procedures and measurement uncertaintybudgets Take part in UKAS (ISO17025) audits and quickly achieve UKAS signatorystatus Deliver specific, targetdriven on the job training / experiential leaning to apprentices /lesser experienced teammembers Professional communicationwith technical stakeholders including consultation on newmeasurementtechnologies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Extensiveexperience in a precision Electrical metrology laboratoryenvironment
Understanding of qualitysystems & standards (ISO 17025 / ISO9001) Relevant academicqualification (STEM Degree, HNC/HND orequivalent)
Desirable:
* ExistingUKAS signatory status for ElectricalCalibration
Experience in creation ofmeasurement uncertainty budgets to ISO 17025level Experience in use ofautomation software (Fluke Metcal, Met/Track, Met/Teams, Labview) Experience in Mechanical /Dimensional / Temperaturecalibrations

ICS Electrical focuses the calibration of TMDEcapable of making AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, inductance,capacitance, and time & frequency measurements. ICS Electricalsupports calibrations in a dedicated laboratory as well on sitearound the Barrow Submarines Site and Walney Aerodrome. We offer relocationsupport packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meetingeligibility criteria.
