Marketing Account Manager – Creative Agency Manchester – office based £27,500 - £30,000 (dependant on experience) Focus 5 Recruitment are working exclusively with an award-winning creative agency based in central Manchester who are looking to recruit an Account Manager who can help amazing brands connect with their audience. This Account Manager role is about creating strong client relations and delivering the best creative campaigns. The agency work with a wide range of clients across both B2C and B2B and for their size have some amazing brand names in their portfolio. The agency is small to medium sized and have some of the loveliest people in the team. As a smaller team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a real variety of campaigns and quickly get involved in creative and digital marketing initiatives seen by many. You should be a fast learner with strong project management skills, a knack for solving client challenges, and a keen eye for detail, always striving for excellence. Duties for the Account Manager: - Oversee the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Manage internal teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure smooth collaboration. Write clear, compelling briefs that inspire the creative team and align with client goals. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key accounts. Identify client needs and provide strategic guidance, offering solutions that drive business growth. Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to develop innovative marketing strategies. Monitor project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective delivery of campaigns. Ensure all work aligns with the client’s brand and meets the highest standards of quality. Experience required for the Account Manager: - Educated to degree level. At least 2 years agency experience. Commercial marketing skills e.g. the ability to translate strategy into actionable briefs. Excellent project management skills. Social media experience is a bonus, particularly paid social. Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, numerical, verbal and presentation skills.
