I am working alongside a logistics company in the Greater Manchester area who are looking to add a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to their established team. They are a successful local business and are seeking a payroll & accounts professional for a customer-facing role to be a key part of their day-to-day operations.
Key Duties/Tasks:
1. Technical skills: systems preferred (Sage) & excel
2. Support the busy payroll & Accounts department
3. Work alongside sales to process bookings and offer quotes to customers
4. Process a weekly payroll
5. Accounts responsibilities such as processing invoices, conducting checks, dealing with remittances, etc.
6. Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
7. Work to multiple deadlines

Normal working hours are 35 hours per week, 09:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 1-hour unpaid break.
