An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and well-organised individual to join our busy admin team at Bay Primary School. The successful candidate must work well as part of a team and have the ability to communicate effectively with students and their parents/carers. Good IT skills are essential, and previous experience of using MIS systems would be an advantage.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
* Undertake reception duties, answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
* Sign visitors in/out in accordance with academy safeguarding procedures.
* Uphold the smooth running of admin systems and procedures at the school.
* Update the management information system, in relation to pupil information and lunch registers.
* Liaise closely with appropriate staff regarding safeguarding, behaviour and wellbeing issues, logging incidents where appropriate on CPOMs.
* Facilitate effective communication with parents using various multimedia channels such as text messaging, email and other systems.
* Be proactive in tidying the admin office and reception area, ensuring they are tidy and free of clutter at all times.
* Maintain stock and supplies, checking off orders and distributing as required.
