Job Opportunity: Temporary Pastoral Leader in a Large Primary School – Crosby (January 2025 Start)
Are you passionate about supporting the emotional and social wellbeing of young learners? A large and welcoming primary school in Crosby is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Leader to join their team from January 2025 on a temporary basis through Teaching Personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing emotional, behavioural, and social support to children across all age groups.
* Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each pupil.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture, supporting attendance, and managing interventions.
* Offering one-to-one and group support for pupils facing challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
* Supporting teachers in creating a nurturing learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Prior experience in a pastoral, teaching assistant, or similar support role is essential.
* A passion for working with children and a commitment to their wellbeing and development.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Childcare, Counselling, Social Work) are desirable but not essential.
* A DBS check will be required (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel if needed).
