Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in Basildon, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their dynamic team. If you are a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive purchase orders via email or portal and key orders into SAP.
2. Drop orders for processing.
3. Complete new customer account application forms.
4. Investigate shortages, damages, and non-compliance charges, raising the credit request form.
5. Complete forms and request product images from marketing.
6. Liaise with counterparts for product and technical support.
7. Deal with queries and requests from customers by email and telephone.
8. Request delivery slots by email, telephone, and customer portals.
9. Liaise with logistics partners.
10. Order samples and maintain the stock list.
11. Source stock for sample requests and update the sample request form.
12. Update packaging instructions in the Excel database.
13. Provide cover for other members of the team during holidays/sickness.
14. Undertake any other ad hoc duties as requested.
Requirements:
1. Strong administrative skills with previous experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
5. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
8. Flexibility to provide cover during holidays/sickness.
