My client who have an enviable reputation for creating quality new build homes in the Northern Home Counties has a requirement for an Assistant Site Manager to be based on site in Bedford.
Responsibilities
As Assistant Site Manager your primary responsibilities will be to assist the Site Manager with safely delivering the project on time and to specification. You will play an integral part of taking the project from groundworks through to completion.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidate will be:
1. Assist Site Manager daily
2. All site inductions
3. Managing sub-contractors
4. Manage part of the project independently
5. Health & Safety
6. Material management
Qualifications
Required Skills and experience:
To be considered you must have at least 3 years previous site experience in a number two role on either a high value residential developments or volume house builder. My client is only looking for individuals with a stable working history so unfortunately candidates who have worked for several companies in the last few years or are contractors will not be considered.
All candidates must have CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS.
