About the role:
Based at our Rebel Sport Ashburton store, a part-time vacancy currently exists for a Store person, back up Experienced Retail Sales Assistant. The bulk or your role will be receipting incoming good and working within a store person capacity, but you'll need to be comfortable working on the shop floor as a back up!
This role will be part-time, working Wednesday to Saturday, 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities will include:
4. Processing and dispatching inwards and outwards goods
5. Maintaining accurate inventory records
6. Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and correct
7. Ensuring that your workplace is tidy, clean and well organized.
8. Facilitating the flow of stock from the stockroom to the floor by working closely with the entire team
Back up responsibilities:
9. Counter/ Till operations
10. Assisting customers and providing first class customer service
11. Retrieving stock and replenishing shelves in your department
12. Supporting online customers by efficiently picking and packing orders
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will need:
13. Stockroom experience
14. A full (clean) drivers licence.
15. A workplace Health and Safety focus
16. Strong administrative ability
17. Exceptional attention to detail
18. To be driven and motivated to achieve
19. Excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with other stores, carriers and suppliers
