Travel: You’ll need to travel frequently to customer sites across the UK.
Enhanced Security Clearance: You’ll be required to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance.
Surveillance & SMART Solutions delivers complex high security surveillance solutions to support BT as a national champion, providing technology and complex solutions to support UK Plc “MOD, critical national infrastructure, communities, towns and cities” in the fight against anti-social behaviour and terrorism as well as keeping their businesses operational.
As the Surveillance Complex Solution Delivery Manager, you’ll be strategically responsible to manage a matrix team to deliver on time, on budget and on specification to meet these demanding customer needs and support the solutions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with high availability and specialised service.
What you’ll be doing
* Leads a matrix team with Openreach, BT teams and/or third-party supplier partners to manage complex surveillance and smart solutions delivery and ensures execution of strategy and delivery of customer service contractual requirements.
* Provides ongoing monitoring of delivery specific activities/programmes, including budget monitoring and executing opportunities for cost efficiencies to impact financial results and improve customer service experience.
* Manages cost, timescales and resources, assesses and implements changes where variances to the plan occur, and identifies and manages risks to the project success.
* Manages projects delivery scope compliance and ensures upsell opportunities are managed and delivered in the form of a comprehensive change management regime.
* Ensures engagement and involvement of stakeholders throughout the project, verifying that outputs meet the required standard, and facilitates effective working relationships between matrix team.
* Applies specialist technical expertise to support the winning new business process and product assurance, provides recommendations from a service perspective as required.
What we'll need to see from you
* A comprehensive understanding of public space surveillance technology and legislation.
* A comprehensive understanding of high security access control technology and legislation.
* Security partners accreditation from Bosch, Axis, Milestone, Gallagher, Briefcam etc.
* Significant project management and complex solutions delivery experience.
* A track record of commercial achievement with the ability to ensure upsell opportunities are delivered in the form of a comprehensive change management regime.
* Hold or be prepared to undergo Security Check (SC) level Security Clearance.
