Leading firm of well-established consulting civil and structural engineers with over 100 staff require a senior structural engineer to join their newest London office based in SE1.
Your role will be to act as a right-hand person to the Technical Director. You will need to enjoy having a very varied role. The role could suit a structural engineer who has reached a glass ceiling in their current practice and wants to develop further. You will be expected to be involved in hands-on design, managing and developing clients, project running, and mentoring graduates. You will also be expected to assist with the further growth and development of this office, which currently stands at 5 staff. This office is working in conjunction with the other offices, including their other London office.
This firm has a strong industry name and offers progression within a friendly and dynamic environment. Members of the firm play an active role in the IStructE, ICE, and other industry bodies and are frequently called upon for their expert advice on complex structural issues.

Current projects include medium and low-rise complex buildings.
Structural engineering forms the core of the practice, with highly qualified and experienced engineering professionals across the country. Current projects include buildings design in the education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Ideally, you will be a Chartered structural engineer with lots of initiative who can demonstrate experience of design in all the main materials, client and project management, people management, and mentoring skills.
