We are seeking a hard-working, caring individual who wants to be part of a successful team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, fast-moving school as a Receptionist/Admin Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract covering Maternity Leave at The Meadows School.
The successful applicant will be a hardworking, dedicated professional to undertake reception and general clerical duties within the main school office. The successful candidate will have:
* School admin experience preferable but not essential
* Good communication skills
* Experience of admin & clerical duties - typing, filing, photocopying etc.
* Experience of reception & telephone duties - dealing with enquiries from a range of stakeholders
* A minimum of NVQ level 2 in Administration
* Educated to GCSE Grade C in English & Maths (or equivalent)

The Meadows School is an extended Sixth Form Day School. We provide education for students from the ages of 9 to 19 across the local authority. We cater for 215 students who have severe and complex special educational needs; many also have additional physical, medical and communication difficulties, including autism.
