Job Description
The Red Bull PU Engineering team have a new opportunity for an ICE Project Manager.
This role will be responsible for planning and managing projects for the ICE V6 programme, ensuring all key tasks and milestones are understood and communicated, and that we maintain a high level of service and feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
The ICE Project Management team sits within the wider Planning & Control function at Red Bull Powertrains, alongside project management teams covering other key programs as well as the production control function which supports the operational delivery of the plans. Together, the Planning & Control department provides a single-source of truth for end-to-end planning through concept, delivery and operation of the power unit programs.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To ensure all key activities and milestones are appropriately captured and communicated through the business systems to ensure program objectives can be realised.
2. To ensure plan progress is effectively tracked and that project plans are kept up-to-date and reflective of reality, and that all project stakeholders are informed of changes or escalations.
3. Support future planning and resource loading by ensuring key tasks are aligned with relevant resource groups and capacity overloads are flagged and resolved in a timely fashion.
4. Creation, Maintenance & Management of Project Plans, as required.
Essential Competencies:
1. Project planning utilising MS Project or other core planning tools
2. Understanding of ICE key components and F1 program requirements
3. To always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors
